The first 75 people got in free. We were among the early attendees of a professional kickboxing match, in Bangkok, Thailand. With nothing else to do but watch the people stir and the street dogs shit, I started entertaining myself with my camera. At first I was fixated on a different man, wrinkled, weathered, handsome in his own way. But then I saw him. His face is so earnest and kind, peaceful and gentle with just a touch of sad. I can almost picture him as a boy, hoping to grow into his ears...
