Australian Pelican - Pelecanus conspicillatus- whilst travelling around Western Australia we visited the world famous Monkey Mia to watch the dolphins from the beach. On the beach were three pelicans hanging out around a point where fishermen would come to clean their catch. They weren't doing much except standing and so to get something different I went for an abstract crop which would highlight the many textures of its throat and feathers.
