I visited this old bed and breakfast near Glasgow, Scotland. It was situated in the countryside and run by the nicest woman you can imagine. I hosted a creative photography workshop here, and really wanted to tell a story with the setting I was given. My thoughts went continually to ghost-like imagery, but instead of creating an image that was too simplistic, I wanted something that would tell more of a story. I added hands holding on to the subject. By placing the house in the background the association is that the girl lives in the house, or once did. The hands of the residents hold her there, keeping her a prisoner of the house that seems so beautiful on the outside, but is filled with secrets.
