I have this idea in my mind that we can exist in the worlds that we want to live in. Because I have this theory, I am often dreaming up lots of new worlds that could exist in my imagination. When I got to photograph a very interesting house, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. My model here got dressed up in an outfit we had been planning on photographing for a while, and it suited the mood just perfectly. I decided to name him the protector of magic, this house being an embodiment of all things fantastic. The dragonflies that I edited in later were used to create that magical world and make it even more real. The subject, standing stoically in this place, takes on the role of protector as he guards the door to, what we can only imagine, is a magical place inside.
