About the Shot

In Rural Indonesia, children often take after their parents' roles. In this image, a boy from a fishing village pauses to catch his breath from his effort of helping the adult men pull the nets ashore. Looping the rope around his waist is the best way to avoid getting blisters in his palms from such an arduous task.
