About the Shot
This is the final and most anticipated moment when the long net is pulled ashore and the rewards of the long day can finally be seen. Bountiful catches however are becoming a rarity with overfishing by more advance and destructive methods coming into play.
In this Image, the men are allotted their roles; the wingman on the left who lifts the net and shakes unwanted seaweed or even plastic waste off the nets, while the others crowd to see that no falling fish escapes. And not to forget the load man who bundles up the net.
Taken just south of Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia
