This is Cliff. He lives in a Southern California Beach City. He plays guitar and sax. He's lived there all his life, often homeless, sometimes with a roof over his head, but always hanging by a thread. Those who new him way back when say he was a great guy and an awesome musician. Unfortunately, substance abuse has taken a toll on his mind. This photo shows his almost childlike joy when I showed him a new chord; B minor. Sometimes though, he can be aggressive and unpredictable. This was a good day.
